The promise of early childhood education
Each child is unique and deserves the support, encouragement, and experiences
they need to be successful in school and in life. This system of support and learning
is never more important than in the early years of life, from birth through age 8.
Decades of research confirm that these early childhood years present a distinct opportunity to make a
profound and lasting impact on child outcomes and well-being, and, ultimately, on society as a whole.
Yet so often many of the components necessary to build a strong foundation for a child’s future success
are missing or deemed unimportant. At Teaching Strategies, we’re committed to supporting the unique
needs of our youngest learners and have worked closely with early childhood educators for over 40 years
